February 12, 2018 – Sarah J. Graham has announced that she will be stepping down as the Artistic and Music Director of the Palouse Choral Society at the conclusion of the current season to spend more time with her family. During her tenure, the Palouse Choral Society has enjoyed a wealth of creative and diverse programming. Her philosophy and vision that “Music is a way we can affect and have an effect on people emotionally and mentally” and that “we can create programs that educate and open people up to new ideas and cultures” was clearly present throughout her performances with PCS.

Dr. Graham’s final concerts with PCS will be “Tell the World” a chamber choir concert of African-American Spiritual music, March 2 and 4 , followed by “A Tribute to Native American Culture” featuring Peter Berring’s Song of the Salish Chief, April 13 and 15.

A search has begun for a new Artistic and Music Director. Information about the remaining concerts and the director search can be found at palousechoralsociety.org.
